“ We love El Sazon! Super friendly staff and delicious food. The chicken tacos and fajitas are amazing. We also love their rice and beans and the warm salsa and chips. We typically go once a week! ”
“ My brother and sister-in-law have been talking up the tacos at El Sazón for the past couple of years but this was my first time at the restaurant and it did actually live up to the hype. I ordered a cecina taco and two deshebrada tacos dorados. I like their tortillas a lot and the steak tasted great too. There's is an interesting and different take on the taco dorado. Their shredded meat is extra juicy but has a more beefy flavor than anything else. Although I usually prefer a little tomato or chile flavor to deshebrada I do have to admit that they were still really good and the tortillas were fried into perfect crispy shells. The salsas were also all really good. They serve Modelos in ice cold mugs and my sister-in-law says their margaritas are pretty good too. I thought maybe we were just getting special treatment from the staff because my brother's family were regulars but I noticed them being extra friendly with everyone who came in which was nice to see. They have a decent sized dining room and our group of 6 which included a baby in a car seat were able to sit comfortably in a booth they have with an extended table. If you're looking for good tacos in Batavia then you should definitely stop into El Sazón. ”

“ Best tacos in the area. Pastor is my favorite, but we have done trays of the chicken and steak and loved those too. Tried the red chicken enchiladas tonight and wish I knew they were this good 10 years ago, tasty comfort food! ”
“ This is our go-to spot for local Mexican! We mostly order take out but have eaten in a few times as well. It is a hole in the wall but we love it! The staff are attentive and kind, food always comes quickly and their red sauce is my favorite. We almost always order the veggie burritos and they are consistently good. When you eat in there are chips and salsa and the chips always come out warm. Such a yummy local spot! ”
“ The Cesina (marinated steak) tacos are our absolute favorites in the area. I actually believe they're one of the best value spots. The service is always pleasant and the staff is courteous. Prices are fair (there's a lot of places that charge so much for tacos - I'm so glad that El Salzon is one of the few that stays reasonable). Also great chips and salads are neat they give you multiple to try. Their horchatas are also a nice treat. One of those places we wish we could stop in more often! ”
“ This place has amazing tacos! You do not go here to take bougie pictures or get your instagram moment, you go here to enjoy deliciously made tacos that are simple and to the point. Service is efficient and their customers actually seem to be regulars from the banters they share with the waiters. I had the pastor tacos with the Combo option and cleaned my plate up quite easily. Would definitely consider coming back next time I'm in Batavia. ”
“ I came in on a Sunday with my older son. We had never been here before and I was in the mood for green chilaquiles. I'm so glad they had the chilaquiles. My son had a michelada and a torta. The food was delicious and fresh. It had the homemade taste. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The place was not noisy or too crowded. They do serve smaller portions than other Mexican restaurants but none the less, delicious, homemade food. We will be back. ”
“ Small Taqueria located in a strip center in downtown Batavia. All your standard Mexican foods..great variety. Started with a Tecate beer..loved how they salted the rim with a little spice in a frosted mug. The cost was under $5.00. They served you a basket of chips and warm salsa which was fantastic. Tried 4 tacos..chorizo..el pastor..steak and chicken. Served Mexican style. American style is also available. Only 2.99 each. Ordered a side of rice and beans. Will definitely go back when visiting the small quaint shops of Batavia. ”
